With over 25 years experience Establishing, Directing, Managing and Teaching at English as a Second Language schools in both Japan and China, American Language Services Saipan guarantees the most comprehensive learning experience set in the idyllic tropical environment of the Northern Mariana Islands. 

The original American Language Services was established in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, at the base of Mt. Fuji in1982, offering in-house and corporate lessons, as well as translation and interpreting services. American Language Services went on to become among the largest English Conversation School in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture with corporate and institutional contracts with the likes of Numazu Institute of Technology, Atami International Tourism College, Toshiba Electric, Toshiba E.M.I., Fuji Film, Nissan Motors, among many other leading Japanese corporations and institutions. The school was sold in 1995 and after 6 years of travel to Saipan, New Zealand and Fiji, a second school was established in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture in 2001. In 2004, yet another English Language and Vocational Training College was established in Yangshuo, Guangxi Province, China and sold 4 years later. From 2015 – 2018 I was an Instructor / Lecturer at Fuzhou University, Civil Engineering Dept., Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China where I taught a variety of technical English courses including Academic Writing, Engineering English, Oral Presentations, and English Linguistics, https://www.outofparadise.net/teaching-portfolio.
